I’m interested in pre- and post-copulatory sexual selection, the evolution of reproductive systems, and the maintenance of alternative mating tactics.
Education:
Ph.D. – Syracuse University, 2011 – present
B.S. – Iowa State University, 2011
Research Interests:
My dissertation addresses fundamental questions regarding the evolution, maintenance, and expression of alternative male mating tactics using the yellow dung fly. This work incorporates field- and mesocosm-based behavioral studies with molecular techniques to quantify fitness consequences of alternative behavioral and life history strategies.
